This year’s Food Challenge was sponsored by Sainsbury’s. Pupils were asked to design a recipe leaflet, make a dish, and design a marketing campaign for Sainsbury’s “Feed the Family for a Fiver” strategy.
On the 20th of June 2010, eight challengers from St. Ninian’s High School and Airdrie Academy began their World Challenge trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
The UK Junior Maths Challenge is a competition organised by the UK Mathematics Trust for schools from across the UK. This year, 77 St. Ninian’s pupils took part in the Junior Section winning 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 11 Bronze certificates.
On the 4th June 2010, St Ninian’s High School held its annual Maths Puzzle Day for all new S3 pupils. The pupils were given the chance to try out ten different problem solving challenges.
School will close at 1pm on Friday 25th June for the summer break. We will reopen to pupils on Monday 16th August 2010.
